Greg Strunk


Prior to his 30 years of business in the insurance and investment industry, Greg Strunk attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. In addition to his academic accomplishments including making the Dean’s List and receiving a BA, Greg received the Big Ten Medal of Honor for his position as Safety and was selected as part of the North-South All Star Squad and Hula Bowl Team. In 1976, Greg entered the financial industry with his first position at Ipema Financial Group.  He championed his talents in Estate and Corporate planning until 1986, and received national corporate recognition qualifying for the President’s Club, Top Club, Royal Blue Clubs of Penn Mutual.

Today, Greg is CEO of The Strunk Insurance Group, Inc., a brokerage firm which represents over two hundred companies throughout the United States. He also partners with The Clements Agency, one of the largest property and casualty agencies in the Southwest.

Greg is a member of the Phoenix Thunderbirds, Phoenix Rotary 100, and All Saints Lutheran Church. Greg is also the past President of The Arizona Association of Health Underwriters and has served on the board of the West Valley Child Crisis Center and Moon Valley Country Club.

Greg is married to his wife Peggy of over thirty years. When they are not actively involved in their three adult children’s family activities, they both enjoy jogging, tennis and golfing in Phoenix’s beautiful year-round weather.

Casey Strunk


With the costs of benefits and health care rising, Casey J. Strunk is passionate about leveraging innovative methods coupled with traditional solutions to create fiscal efficiencies in today’s businesses’ employee offerings. As President of Strunk Insurance Group, Mr. Strunk provides high level and strategic oversight of clients’ benefits packages, as well as making recommendations based upon the industry’s latest trends. With the hopes of carrying on his father’s stellar legacy, Mr. Strunk is committed to providing the same quality of service that clients from the Strunk Insurance Group’s inception have come to expect to those in present day. His future plans also include expanding both the services the company offers and the company’s reputation, geographically, to become one of the premier benefits agencies in the Southwest. Instilled with his father’s Midwestern values and work ethic, Mr. Strunk also continually strives to bring innovative, yet pragmatic processes and practices to the table.

Equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in communication from Northwestern University, Mr. Strunk understands the importance of being able to adapt to his audience, as he often works with a wide range of clients. This expertise has also helped him in translating complex laws and regulations into easy-to-digest concepts.

Additionally, while at Northwestern, Casey J. Strunk was ranked in the top 50 nationally and competed against the country’s best schools on the Big Ten Title winning men’s golf team. To this day, he still enjoys under-par rounds with clients and competing in many of the Valley’s charity tournaments. However, the golf course isn’t the only place where philanthropy takes precedence. Mr. Strunk is also extremely involved in the Phoenix 20/30 club, serving on the Executive Committee and chairing one of the largest charity events in the Valley.

As an HR Business Partner, Andrea is responsible for overseeing and providing consulting services to our clients in the area of human resources.

Prior to joining Strunk, Andrea spent over 10 years in the HR Outsourcing industry providing HR consulting services to small to mid-size employers throughout the Southwest. She brings with her 15+ years of human resources experience from industries such as insurance, financial services, manufacturing, health care, technology, and retail. In her previous role, she was involved in the successful rollout of a product expansion, serving as a guest trainer for the initiative and training of hundreds of human resource service professionals nationwide.

Her education includes a Bachelor’s degree in political science from SUNY College at Fredonia, a Master’s degree in human resource management from Troy University, and a MBA from the University of Phoenix. She is certified as a Senior Human Resource Professional (SPHR) from the Society for Human Resource Management.

An avid fan of the Sonoran desert, when she is not trying to sneak in a hike, Andrea enjoys spending her free time with her family and their two Dalmatians. She is also actively involved in youth sports with the Anthem Dolphins Swim Team.

Jennifer Kush

Director of Business Development

Jennifer started her career in customer service for a telecom company in the mid 1990s. From there she moved into various account executive positions. In 2005, she changed gears and spent eight years in advertising sales at the Phoenix Business Journal and was a top sales performer. She earned accolades working in some of the most demanding industries in advertising including technology, government, law and business associations. By selling cross-platform solutions and measuring their success, she was able to determine her clients’ needs before they did, thus becoming a trusted advisor. To this day, her main priority is being a client advocate at all times.

Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Over the last few years she has focused on attending classes and seminars around human management challenges. She frequently attends Society for Human Resources Management and HR industry events, trainings and conferences.

Jennifer spends her free time with her three young daughters and husband in their Cave Creek neighborhood. She volunteers as a liaison of her church’s Marketing and Communication Committee to the preschool ministry. When she’s not baking or enjoying time with her Kindle, Jennifer can be found at a local spa or Central Phoenix eatery.
